1. Proofs: How do they work?

    Once your order is placed, we will format your personal information the match the design of your invitation. A maximum of three (3) proofs for each element ordered is included. Additional proofs will be charged at $10.00 each.

Therefore, check your proof very carefully. Any changes requested after your final proof approval, or printing can be very costly. We recommend that at least two people review your proofs. Clients are responsible for proofreading. Mistakes discovered after approval are corrected (irregardless of whose error it was) at the client’s expense.

We will e-mail the proof(s) to you for review, changes, or “Approved to print” decision. As production will then begin immediately, no refunds are allowed after final proof approval. If our schedule accommodates any changes after your sign-off on the proof, such will require additional cost.

2. Samples: Can I order some?

Samples allow you to touch and experience the textures, and quality of our materials and craftsmanship. Our sample kit includes two samples for a cost of $20.00 plus shipping.

Each sample will include an invitation, response (rsvp) card, and envelope. The cost of your sample kit will be credited toward your order, and will be mailed in 2 – 5 business days via priority mail. There are no refunds on samples.

3. Minimum Orders?

Yes, the minimum order is fifty (50) of any item.

4. How long will it take to receive my order?

It will take approximately 3 – 6 weeks (after final approval confirmation) to complete your order. The time frame depends on our receipt of materials from manufacturers. (If a paper and ribbon is back ordered it can take up to four weeks to receive from the manufacturer.)

We will do our best to respond to any time extension created due to a manufacturer’s delay; however, if such an unexpected delay should occur Designs by k obviously cannot be held responsible for any extended time required.

5. Shipping: How will that happen?

We use nationally known professional couriers. Please note that Designs by K cannot guarantee that products delivered by these couriers will arrive on time and or without damage on their part. When your order is completed, an e-mail will be sent notifying you that your order is being shipped.

6. International sales available?

Unfortunately, we do not sell internationally at this time.

7. Refund policy?

Sorry, there are no refunds after final proof approval.

8. Could my order be refused?

Designs by K reserves the right to accept or reject any order for any reason at any time without any liability or obligation whatsoever, to any individual and/or entity seeking to purchase our products.

9. Price changes?

Prices and product availability are subject to change at any time without notice.

10. Color variations?

Slight color variations can occur because of the handmade nature of many of our papers, other materials, or variation in personal computer screen settings.

11. How far in advance should I order my invitations?

To give your guests adequate time to reserve your wedding date on their busy calendars, most consultants recommend invitations be mailed 6-8 weeks before the wedding date. Our process time is about 3 - 6 weeks. (Some papers and ribbons can take more than four weeks to receive from the manufacturer.)

Many brides send Save the Date cards four to six months in advance in order to accommodate today’s busy calendars. If interested, you can find Save the Date cards with each one of our invitations.

12. Wedding Announcements: Are they available?

Yes! Just select an invitation style you like, then enter your chosen wording in the invitation text block and follow the instructions.
